Yes — all alteration services listed on this page are delivered as a mobile service across London. Your Dr. Alter tailor visits your address, collects the garments after pinning and returns them fitted and ready to wear.
Can you alter garments made from delicate fabric?
Yes — Dr. Alter works with all fabric types including silk, chiffon, satin, crepe, nida, stretch denim and embellished materials. Delicate fabrics are assessed at the fitting and handled with appropriate technique.
Do you alter clothes bought from any brand or retailer?
Yes — Dr. Alter alters garments from any brand, retailer or country of origin. The work is assessed on the garment itself, not where it was purchased.
What is the turnaround time for alterations in London?
Standard turnaround is 3–5 working days from collection to return delivery. Express 24–48 hour service is available on request.
Can I have multiple garments altered in one visit?
Yes — most clients bring several garments to each fitting. All items are tagged individually and returned together at the agreed time.
